Apologies! So, without further ado, here it is: Edinburgh Lions v Wolves (Senior Women) 15.4.12 The Wolves were looking to end the season on a high and quickly settled into the game, running their plays smoothly. Passes were accurate and strong which effectivley broke down the Lions defence. Wolves took the first quarter with a good lead of 8 points. In the second quarter the Lions tried to close the gap by taking the outside shot, however Wolves time and again closed down the shooter or won the rebound to create a quick turnover. Going into half time the Wolves had retained the lead and had opened the gap to 12. In the third quarter the Wolves had grown in confidence and continued to challenge the Lions for every point. This continued into the last quarter where the Wolves did not sit back but with a combined team effort continued to play with all they had. It was an excellent win to mark the end of the season. Final score 56-30 to Wolves. L.McGill was top scorer with 24 points. GO WOLVES! - See you next season! West Lothian Wolves Awards/Fun Night 11/05/2012

The Senior Women have hosted games against Grangemouth & Comets as the Lothian League winds down for another season. Wolves (Senior Women) vs Grangemouth 26/3/12 It was an equal start for both teams, with the score tied at the end of the first quarter. In the second quarter Wolves struggled to add points, scoring only 2 points against Grangemouth's 10. The Wolves rallied at half time and came out the stronger side. Wolves scored 28 points in the 2nd half and won both the third and forth quarters. This great effort only shrunk Grangemouth's lead and wasn't enough for the Wolves to win overall. Final score 37 – 42. S.Davidson was top scorer for the Wolves with 11 points Wolves (Senior Women) vs Comets 2/4/12 This was the Wolves' penultimate game of the season. It was a slow start for both teams. The Wolves took a small lead in the first quarter, where with just over 2 minutes left on the clock Comets were yet to score. The 2nd quarter was a relatively equal performance but Comets had managed to level the score going in to half time. The third quarter was again of equal performance, with both teams showing strong defence each found it difficult to settle and secure points. By the end of the 3rd quarter it remained tight with only 1-point in it. In the 4th quarter it was all or nothing and both teams were eager to secure the win. Comets quickly took the lead and this time it was the Wolves who failed to find the basket and capitalise on the opportunities. Comets continued to increase the gap and whilst Wolves again started to notch up the points it wasn't enough. Final score 27 - 43. L.McGill was top scorer with 9 points.
